Internal Scholarships

The Geography and Environmental Studies Scholarship for Excellence Award was established by the Department of Geography to reward, recognize and encourage outstanding students with a specialization in Geography or Environmental Studies.

Eligibility

The scholarship will be presented to a University of Regina graduate student who meets the following criteria:
- A fully-qualified student in a thesis or project-based graduate program in Geography;
- Completed a minimum of 12 credit hours in a graduate program;
- Attained the highest Graduate Grade Point Average (GGPA) at the time the scholarship is awarded;
- Registered and remains registered in a minimum of 6 graduate credit hours in the semester the scholarship is awarded; and
- Nominated by the Department of Geography and Environmental Studies Scholarship Committee
