Internal Scholarships
The donors established this bursary to support students in need, who have accessed the University of Regina Women’s Centre and/or the Sexual Violence Prevention and Response Office. This bursary offers financial support to undergraduate and graduate students facing hardships, as a result of experiencing gender violence that could affect their academic success.
Eligibility
One bursary will be given in the Spring semester and one will be given in the Fall semester.
The Gender Based Violence Bursary will be awarded to a University of Regina undergraduate or graduate student who meets the following criteria:
• Has accessed the services offered by the University of Regina Women’s Centre and/or the Sexual Violence Prevention and Response Office;
• Demonstrates need for support services, including financial assistance, as a consequence of violence and/or gender violence; and
• Registered in at least 3 credit hours in the term the bursary is awarded.
