Internal Scholarships

The Dr. Esam Hussein Engineering and Applied Science Graduate Scholarship for Excellence is a graduate scholarship encouraging students graduating from the University of Regina in any Engineering program to remain here and continue their studies at the graduate level.

Eligibility

The scholarship will be awarded to a University of Regina graduate student who meets the following criteria:
- Is accepted as a fully-qualified graduate student from any University of Regina Engineering and Applied Science undergraduate program and continuing studies in Engineering at the University at the graduate level;
- Selection to take place in the Fall. Students who have entered (1st, 2nd or 3rd semester only) a graduate program in Engineering in that calendar year are eligible; and
- Awarded to a student who has achieved, the highest minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 80% at the undergraduate level or equivalent, as determined by the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research.

Application Information

No application required. The Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science Scholarship Committee will recommend a recipient to the Manager of Graduate Scholarships and Awards.
