The Graduate Advanced Training and Entrepreneurship (GATE) Centre aims to build and support a robust student culture of professional development, entrepreneurship, and innovation at the University of Regina through:
- Career readiness and professional development for students and postdoctoral scholars;
- Partnership and network opportunities with industry, non-profit and community organizations;
- Acceleration of student and faculty-driven research commercialization, research and development, and provide introductory and exploratory information to the entrepreneurship ecosystem;

Through this opportunity U of R participants, which includes students, postdocs and faculty are immersed in the dynamic world of entrepreneurship and startups. Participants gained invaluable insights and connections while bridging the gap between academia and Saskatchewan's vibrant startup ecosystem.
