2. Career Days

It's an all-discipline networking event that reaches local and national employers for undergrad and graduate students, and alumni. This event showcases organizations allowing them to share information about job openings, and engage with you!

Beyond Graduate School is a one-of-a-kind, online platform that helps graduate students like yourself make the most out of your investment and build your career. 1. Job Searching for Graduate Students

Description: Are you planning to attend the GATE Reverse career Fair in Spring? Or, are you a graduate/post-graduate student beginning or working through the job search?

Join this online webinar to learn strategies for finding opportunities that are a good fit for you and gain an understanding on how to break in to the hidden job market through networking and visibility. We'll also discuss how you can build capacity and care for yourself during the process of the job search.

This workshop is hosted by real life advisors from Centre for Experiential and Service Learning (CESL) in partnership with the Graduate Advanced Training and Entrepreneurship (GATE) Program with the Faculty of Graudate Studies and Research (FGSR) and meets the requirement of the "Customizing Resumes Workshop" across CESL's Experiential Digital Badges.

Interviews are always a bit stressful, but being prepared can help you feel more confident and at ease in order to present your best self.

5. Reverse Career Fair

Graduate students must complete one of the above Centre for Experiential and Service Learning (CESL) courses to participate in the Reverse Career Fair. In the fall, this unique fair featured employers from major Saskatchewan businesses, including Mosaic, Nutrien, Farm Credit Canada, Cultivator, TD, ISM, ISC, and the City of Regina. It was a remarkable success, with two students receiving interviews and one securing a job offer.
