Presentations on the importance of flora and land-based knowledge from an Indigenous worldview.  This event is free and open to the public

  • Elder Betty McKenna, from Sapotawayak Reserve, Treaty 4 Territory in Manitoba
  • Dr. Fidji Gendron, Associate Dean (Academic) and Professor of Biology at First Nations University of Canada

Dr. John Archer Library & Archives Regina and Wascana Rooms (LY107.32-33 main floor) 

Additional information:

Archer Library also has a display of some resources on the main floor.  There is also an online guide to learn more about some medicinal properties of plants and flora.  The guide also links to a contest for University of Regina and Federated Colleges students and there is an interactive online game at https://library.uregina.ca/librarycontest/indigenousplants.
