Title: A comparison of provincial work fatality rates in Canada, 2010-2020

Abstract: Each year workers compensation boards in Canada record about 1,000 worker fatalities. This presentation uses data from the Association of Workers Compensation Boards of Canada to calculate provincial traumatic injury and occupational disease fatality rates. Differences among provinces are highlighted along with the number of work-related COVID-19 fatalities and data limitations.
