Speaker- Mr. Ken Sunquist

The next speaker in the Insight series is Ken Sunquist, winner of the 2013 Alumni Crowning Achievement Award for Lifetime Achievement. Mr. Sunquist will present "A New Global Perspective, A Saskatchewan Perspective."

His presentation will look at the areas where Saskatchewan can be competitive nationally and globally and how we fit into an emerging world of opportunity and surprising new markets.

Ken Sunquist is an international strategic business advisor, management consultant and corporate director. He worked in Public Service and for the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade as Assistant Deputy Minister (Asia and Africa) and Chief Trade Commissioner for Canada from 1973 to 2011. He is currently Senior Fellow at the China Institute of the University of Alberta, Senior Advisor at the Hanlon Centre for International Business of the University of Saskatchewan and the Senior Advisor to Northstar Trade Finance Inc. His interests have focused on international business, government relations, leadership issues and working extensively on values and ethics for individuals and organizations.
