Psychology Training Clinic
Mission
Our mission is to provide psychological services to residents in and around Regina.
We provide students enrolled in the Clinical Psychology Program with opportunities to train in the delivery of psychological services under the supervision of Registered Doctoral Psychologists.
Strengths of Clinic
The Clinic offers services to community residents with mental health concerns, specifically those with mild to moderate symptoms who may not be able to easily access other services.
Clients and students benefit from the clinical experience of supervisors who are registered and up to date on the most recent research in the field of clinical psychology.
Psychological Services
All clients will be provided services by Master’s or PhD students in Clinical Psychology under the close supervision of registered doctoral psychologists. This may involve sessions with both the student-therapist and supervisor or the student-therapist with close observation/review of sessions by the supervisor.
We are currently offering the following services:
- Individual therapy for children, adolescents, or adults with moderate to mild mental health concerns.
- Child and adult assessments for a variety of mental health disorders.
Fees
We do not want cost to prevent individuals from receiving therapy services, therefore we offer sessions at a reduced rate. Please contact us for our current fee structure.
Assessments cost a flat rate of $2,000.
Note: We do not offer direct billing to insurance companies. We do issue client receipts for use to submit insurance reimbursement claims if applicable.
Eligibility for Service
Due to the nature of the training setting, we are not be able to accept clients who are: 1) in receipt of other mental health services; 2) involved in litigation; 3) receiving financial compensation from a third party (e.g., WCB); 4) at high risk of suicide or experiencing problems with psychosis, alcohol or drugs; 5) associated with a member of the Psychology Training Clinic; and/or 6) unwilling to be seen by a graduate student under supervision.
