Faculty of Science
Facing the challenges of our present — and future!
The Faculty of Science is a vibrant community of students and scholars committed to impactful scientific discovery and transformative science education. Our students and researchers go on to keep Saskatchewan and Canada equipped with the knowledge base and human resources necessary for facing the challenges of our present – and future.
Our university is rooted in the belief that we reach our greatest potential when we work together. That's why we’re raising much-needed funds to support scholarships for students in the Faculty of Science.
Dean of Science Scholarly Achievement Award
This award recognizes high academic achievement by undergraduate students who have completed two or three years of study. Valued at $2,000, this award is presented annually to one exemplary student from each department in the Faculty of Science.
Faculty of Science Indigenous Scholar Award
Presented annually, this $1,000 award recognizes high scholarly achievement by Indigenous students who have completed one year of study in any department in the Faculty of Science.
"It is a dream of mine to attend medical school and specialize in neurology. I hope to learn all that I can about the fascinating complexities of the brain and nervous system, and one day provide more specialized healthcare accessibility and care for Saskatchewan residents. Your support gets me one step closer to attaining and fulfilling my goals and allows me to dedicate more time and effort into all aspects of my academics. Ultimately, it allows me to devote my best self into my studies which is an opportunity that I will make the most of. I want to express my sincere gratitude."
— Makayla Fleming, recipient, Indigenous Scholar Award
