The Department of Music provides students with the opportunity to develop their talents and artistic expression along with an understanding of the role of music in culture. We offer a wide array of undergraduate and graduate programs to students who receive first-rate comprehensive education in the areas of performance, musicianship, history, theory and more.

Your support plays a vital role in our ability to maintain and enhance the quality of our programs, ensure the highest standards of education through the maintenance and renewal of our musical instrument collection and equipment, attract students from every walk of life, host national and international guest artists, develop great community outreach and many other crucial areas that make the Department of Music an exemplary place of learning.
