IB Diploma Student
Application Information
The IB Diploma program is a curriculum that can be completed anywhere in the world, and is made up of core elements and subject groups. At the University of Regina, we accept the IB Diploma with a minimum of 24 points as the equivalent of Secondary Level Standing. Applicants with this credential must also meet the faculty- and program-specific course admission requirements.
Students must request their official transcript from IB to be sent to the University of Regina for admission. Certain Higher Level IB courses will also be considered for transfer credit consideration.
When applying during the final year of the program, students can provide an interim grade report and a schedule of current/planned courses via email, fax, or mail. This can be sent directly to the Enrolment Services office from the student or school. This interim/unofficial grade report is used for the early conditional admission calculation.
Official IB transcripts must be submitted following graduation and by all those applying who have completed the IB Diploma. This official document is used for the final admission average calculation. Find information on how to order your official transcripts here. Official transcripts must be submitted to the University of Regina directly from IB, and can be accepted electronically through the IB website.
Applicants with a minimum grade of 4 or better in Higher Level English will also meet the English Language Proficiency requirement for undergraduate admission.
