In addition to learning English, Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) offers lessons on adapting to Canadian society and culture.

Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) is fully funded by Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

Registration and Information
Eligibility
You are eligible for the LINC program if you are:
- A Permanent Resident of Canada or Protected Person
- 18 years of age or older
Step 1: Take the Canadian Language Benchmarks Placement Test (CLBPT)
You need to visit LARC to take the Canadian Language Benchmarks Placement Test (CLBPT).

Step 2: Be Referred to the University of Regina
- Registration is continually accepted. There are no registration deadlines for this program.
- Classes are held each term - winter, spring/summer and fall.
- There are mandatory attedance requirements from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
Note there is no child care available during these classes.
