The west was populated by the train. As residents here, we are told we owe everything to the train. As filmmakers, we are told that the train is our greatest metaphor. Why then, in an attempt to explore the train on film, is it not much more than a ghost? Inspired by Chuck Gilhooly's "Steel Motion", amongst other films.
