This was our third victory of the season and came down to the last inning. We spotted the Buffalo Humps 5 runs by the bottom of the 2nd inning but held them at bay in the top of the 3rd. Then the Sluggers exploded for six big runs including a big (and controversial) hit that was fair down the right field line. Perhaps the diamond wasn't exactly sqaure, but the Humps had already sent 15 batters to the plate without any objection. We were tied at 11 after the top of the 7th, but the top of the order came through with one run to end the game in victory. This was a satisfying win that should serve as springboard for better things to come -- a playoff berth.
