Well short on the roster, big on heart. We got thumped by one of the top teams in the division ... but it was more due to a shortage of players than anything else. Missing two fielders is a loss defensively and it cost us a few times without the roamers to take care of the short outfield / long infield hits. Oh yeah, the "big hitters" in the other dugout were masters of the full swing bunt / infield hit that they used to get on base and produce runs. Once again a seventh inning rally where we sent eleven to the plate, cashing in 6 runs made things respectable. We are poised to be a playoff dark horse if we can start producing at the plate, but we'll have to win on Monday to make sure we have a chance of making the playoffs ... see you on the diamond (at least) one more time.
