This game will be played out of order since it is rescheduled to accomodate the oponent.
What a game it was!!! Could you believe that we could send ten batters to the plate and score 9 runs in one inning. We had some good support from some new talent: Gerry went 3/4, scored twice; Randy 4/4, scored thrice; Donna "you told me to get an RBI, so I did ...". Solid effort from the usual crew as well: Shaun 3/3, scored thrice; Lori with 3 RBI's including one to tie the game in the bottom of the 7th; I was even able to go 3/4, scoring three times. There were a lot of RBI's on those runs scored, so if I didn't mention you by name please do not be offended. Everyone contributes ...
Our current average is a "Dirty Harry" 0.357 magnum which may or may not get us into the second season (aka playoffs). We can do no worse than 0.313 this season which is a HUGE improvement over last year. If we can finish with a couple more wins, we would have a 0.438 average which might sneak us into the playoffs. Regardless, I hope you'll agree it's been a fun season.
