The Associate Vice-President (Human Resources) is responsible for the leadership and direction of the Human Resources Department, programs, operations and success. The Associate Vice-President is accountable for the development and implementation of the strategic plan for human resource management; faculty and staff relations, organizational development and people programs; health, safety & wellness; pension & benefits; respectful university office; and the HR service centre for the University of Regina.
The Associate Vice-President (Human Resources) ensures consistency between human resource initiatives, programs, policies and services to support the mission and goals of the University of Regina. In carrying out these responsibilities, the Associate Vice-President (Human Resources) works closely with executive and senior leadership to establish and maintain relationships with all constituents to effect change while meeting current and future forecasted human resource needs within the University.
