Agricultural residue catalytic hydrothermal liquefaction to HEV biofuels. Catalytic thermal conversion of biomass to syngas, bio-gas and bio-oil. Municipal wastes into energy via pyrolysis and gasification processes. CO2 utilization for producing value added products. Sorption-based functional materials for CO2 capture and utilization. Modeling, simulation and optimization of post- and pre-combustion CO2 capture with H2 production, and CO2 utilization. Catalytic methods for CO2 capture and utilization.
