Taking a Few Shots on the Wild Side
16mm film, 5 minutes, 2008
Workshop film Raoul Cormier, Ramona Furkert and Debbie Bradford.
This was made as part of the 48 Hour Filmmaking frenzy. We didn't have a very concise plan to start with. We had a list of images we were interested in and so we basically wandered around with the camera taking turns capturing them. In the end, the plan, such as it was, had no relevance. The film ended up being a sort of portrait of a day. Raoul played live guitar to it but the recording was lost. Other music has been added for screening that might ever occur. It was awarded best film of the weekend.
