The Thin Letter: (Toxic 3)
16mm film, 5 minutes, 2003 (additional images 1, 2, 3, 4)
In January 2001, shortly after I had been given bad news by my doctor, I'd been travelling and spending a lot of time thinking about my fate. This is a story that happened one of those days. I tell the story in a first person address to the camera. The film is shot on 2 iso colour print stock with a fish eye lens on a cp-16 by Korean cinematographer Won-Seok Yang. I developed the film, all 400' at once, in a bucket using 15 year old colour paper developer. It took two years for me to tell this story on camera.
