Hello. On Tuesday of this month, a close personal friend of mine approached me with a question. "Mr. Saul", he queried, "What is this 'texting' that I keep hearing about". After exhausting research, I have discovered that text messaging, or as the teen-agers will sometimes say in parley-ance of the day, 'texting', is what was previously, and properly, known as 'typing'.
I hope that this clears up your confusion.
