Artist Statement

I work with technology, play with technology, and create with technology.

Developing digital media necessitates my participation in virtual worlds of digital culture and the social constructions of the Internet.

Yet beneath the onslaught of cancel culture, stealth AI, unsocial media, fake news and screaming videos lives a quiet space.

A haunted space.

Spaces that contain residual electronic imprints of human occupation.

Spaces where the physical body is reduced to binary code and reconstructed within digital devices.

These are the spaces where I chose to create, for it is only in the quiet, symbiotic moments between human and machine where we can hear the whispers of virtual space.
