Abstract: The goal of this project is to encourage students, especially females, to pursue their education in physics, and to provide undergraduate students with experience in nuclear technology, project management and science policy. These goals will be partly facilitated by having undergraduates develop subatomic physics instrumentation (muon detection systems) and, importantly, with outreach visits to schools in Regina and rural areas by teams of undergraduates and a professor.
