Abstract: Generalized parton distributions(GPDs) are hybrid objects, which combine the properties of the parton distributions (PDFs), and the elastic form factors (FF). In the framework of QCD, at sufficiently large Q 2 and small squared nucleon momentum transfer (-t) GPDs can be accessed by Deep Exclusive Meson Production (DEMP). We propose to acquire new data which will yield much new information on the poorly-known GPDs E-tilde and HT via DEMP with the Solenoidal Large Intensity Device (SoLID) at Jefferson Lab.
