May 2024:
The 107th Canadian Chemistry Conference and Exhibition (CSC) will be held from June 2nd to the6th in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Many of our research groups and graduate students will be attending the conference and presenting on their research.
Dr. Allan East is also chairing a session on Ion Solvation at the conference.
April 2024:
Dr. Omar El-Halfawy, Assistant Professor of Biochemistry and Canada Research Chair in Chemogenomics and Antimicrobial Research, was featured on the University of Regina Main Page about his innovative multimedia based assignment in his BIOC390 course, which had students creating videos explaining biochemistry concepts aimed at Grade 10 students.

Congratulations to Jenna Merk, who is currently working on her M.Sc. in Chemistry with Dr. Marc MacKinnon, on being named the Canada West Student-Athlete Community Service Award Winner!
