Undergraduate Visiting Research Student
Eligibility:
Students must meet the following criteria to submit an application:
- Enrolled in a degree program at an accredited post-secondary institution
- In good academic standing at the home institution
- Identify an accredited faculty member at the University of Regina as a host supervisor
- Length of initial proposed visit must not be longer than one (1) year. Visits may be eligible for extension
- Funding Requirements: must secure funding from the following source:
- Funding from the students' Home Institution;
- Funding from scholarship bodies;
- Funding from the researcher's confirmed University of Regina Host Supervisor
Required Application Documents:
- Letter from Home Institution
- Research proposal
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)/Resume
- Passport
- Funding Letter
- Letter of Support from Home Institution (Letter should be on your Home Institution’s letterhead and express support for your research visit. It should be signed by your current academic supervisor, dean or chairperson)
Interested Students should submit a copy of their CV & Research Plan to global.mobillity@uregina.ca
Important Notes:
- Undergraduate Visiting Research Students are responsible for the full costs of the Program Fee (Application Fee + Program Service Fee), University of Regina Students' Union fees, and Recreation and Athletics fees each semester
- Undergraduate Visiting Research Students are responsible for any and all Program Extension Fees for each additional semester beyond the initial term
