This document describes the security policies and procedures used for "CASPUR", the Computerized Administrative Systems and Processes at the University of Regina. The scope of this document includes security for U of R employees, Federated college employees, and students. The security will permit access to one or more of:
NOTE: Caspur includes the SCT Banner software as well as custom software developed by the U of R. U of R Caspur software is designed to tie into Banner's security subsystem. Therefore the terms "Banner security" and "Caspur security" may be used interchangeably. To avoid confusion, this document sometimes uses both terms, as in "Caspur/Banner security". When the term "Banner" is used alone, it generally refers to particular security screens and other software purchased from SCT.
