Federated Colleges are permitted access to some portions of the U of R's administrative systems (in particular, Banner Student forms and Caspur Student reports). Regional college employees are permitted a lesser level of access to certain web-based student advising services.
As an employee of a Federated College or Regional College, you will gain access to certain U of R systems as well as those systems provided by your college.
Consult your supervisor regarding arrangements for access to systems.
In your use of the system, you are expected to follow the same "responsible use" practices required of U of R employees.

When a federated or regional college employee is hired, changes jobs, or is terminated, the designated college official is to inform U of R Registrar's office. The current U of R contact is the records clerk within the Registrar's office (phone 585-4173).
The College must supply the necessary information so that the person's ID can be set up (for new accounts) or closed (in the case of transfers or terminations). The necessary information for new accounts includes first name, middle name (if any), surname, birthdate, gender, home address, U of R campus address (if any), home phone, and campus phone (if any). Optional information includes other addresses or phones used by the individual.
The Registrar's office will create the necessary person record(s) on Banner, and then forward the request to the U of R Security Administrator and the U of R help desk.
Setup of PCs and accounts will be coordinated between U of R and College technical staffs so that the employee's PC can be ready for them to use on their first day of work.
College employees seeking access to U of R systems must meet the same training and "responsible use" requirements expected of U of R employees for those particular applications to which they are granted access.
In the event that technical problems occur which cannot be solved by the College's own technical staff, they are to contact the U of R Help Desk.
