5 Days for the Homeless Charity Event

The Hill Business Students Society will be participating in the “5 Days for the Homeless” campaign for the eleventh year. 5 Days for the Homeless is a national campaign that takes place across Canadian universities over a five day and night period. The campaign begins at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 15th and concludes at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 20th.

The mission of the 5 Days for the Homeless campaign is to raise awareness about homelessness in Regina and collect monetary donations for Carmichael Outreach. In 2019, the group raised $58,604, which was the highest 5 Days total of all participating universities (ever)!

All in-person events for the 2020 5 Days for the Homeless campaign have also been canceled.

If you have purchased a ticket to any of the events originally scheduled for this week and would like a refund, please email Ben Hamilton at hillvpfinance@gmail.com, otherwise all funds raised up until this point will be donated to Carmichael Outreach.

The BSS has developed an alternative digital fundraising strategy in support of Carmichael Outreach and will be raffling off four (4) prize baskets. Raffle tickets can be purchased through this Google form before March 20 at 1:00 p.m.: *** Purchasers can allocate their tickets to the four prize baskets (each basket has a different monetary value).
