Splice TV

Television series, half hours, 1996-2005, SD video

This is a half hour program produced by the Saskatchewan Filmpool. Its objective is to promote the films made by its members and by independent filmmakers in general, raising the profile of these filmmakers, and developing an audience for independent film through increased awareness and understanding. Between 1996 and 2005, seven seasons of six episodes were created. These programs were shown on Access 7 in Southern Saskatchewan and SCN across the province (and I believe Manitoba as well). SCN (Saskatchewan Communications Network) is available nation wide via some satellite providers.
I have directed a number of episodes of Splice Tv and have also been featured in some others.

As Director:

1997, Light features interviews with Brett Bell, Chuck Gilhooly, Richard Kerr and Bernie Lavigne. (Page )

1997, Folks Call Him Chuck. This episode has been removed from distribution after one airing due to course (although highly censored) language and intense subject matter. It featured the work of Chuck Gilhooly.

1999, Landscape, features interviews with Phillippe Mather, Patrick Lowe, and Jeannie Mah. (Page  )

2000,  Sound with interviews with Seema Goel, Jessica Rose, Jeff Looysen, Pat Butler, and Cary  Ciesielski. ( Page)
