I shot this film on my birthday. I actually find most of my birthdays to be rather depressing and although I don't think this was a bad one, the film had a definite melancholy feel to it. It is a short rapid film, shot one frame at a time, starting in the neighbourhood where I grew up in Regina, and then moving around to other favourite places around town. It was my first collaboration with my partner Margaret Bessai.
