I used some 16mm hand processed film of a wheat field here, digitally processed into slow motion and looped as the backdrop. I like this image, especially shown in its original negative. It took me years to really come to terms with the fact that I am a formalist. i like to make things for the sake of making them and I like to study the technical process and see wonder and beauty in that process. It's not universal and I rarely like talking about it. This film is about the tip of the iceberg regarding those details.
