super-8, 3.5 minutes, colour, 2016
This film premiered at the One Take Super 8 Event in Regina in June 2016. It features voice performances by Gabrielle Dufresne and Tyler W. Toppings. The title role is Annie Trussler. Erik Sirke shot it and William Bessai-Saul was on set as a production assistant. I shot multiple rehersals with the Canon 5D MII (which remain as backups in case the super-8 doesn't work). The first roll of super-8 is colour reversal for the OTS8 event. A second black and white version with pink filter to create a day for night effect was also shot immedately after the first.
