Good effort by all especially that amazing Aaron ... batting 2 for 5, 2 runs scored, 1 rbi and solid base running. The Sluggers bats were smoking in the early going, we even posted a 7 run inning followed by a 5 run inning. The bats dried up after that until the sixth when we got another 3 runs. Our defence started out solid giving up only 3 runs and one run. The Grand Slam pulled to within one run at 12-11 with a big inning at the plate. We added to the lead to make it 15-11, but then the Slam took the lead 15-18.
I was really happy with the effort by one and all in the field and at the plate. If we continue to play in this fashion we will be competitive, we might even make the playoffs, but I'll settle for having a bunch of fun. Remember the phrase of the game "Keep your eye on the ball" ... take it to heart and we'll go far.
