Missed homework assigments, tests, or lectures: If you cannot complete a homework assignment or you miss a midterm test for a valid reason (e.g., medical reasons, etc.) you can obtain an excused absence by bringing the appropriate documentation to the instructor. The weight will move to the other assignments or test respectively. In particular, there will be no make-up tests. You must write the final exam  in order to get a grade for this course. If you miss a lecture, it is your responsibility to find out what was covered; in this case it is recommended to borrow a classmates' notes and copy them.

Calculator: No calculators are allowed on the test and on the final exam.
