DR. HENRY P.H. CHOW

Dr. Henry P.H. Chow (B.A. Hons., M.A., Ph.D., University of Toronto; Grad. Cert. B.S., Ontario Theological Seminary; Dip. C.P.C. in progress, Institute of Counselling, UK) joined the Department of Sociology and Social Studies at the University of Regina in 1999. Prior to his appointment at this university, he has taught at Trent University in Ontario and University of Calgary in Alberta. At present, he is also an adjunct professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of Calgary. His major research and teaching interests include criminology and criminal justice, immigration and immigrant settlement, race and ethnic relations, the sociology of religion, the sociology of education, social gerontology, statistics, and research methods. His publications appear in Alberta Journal of Educational Research, Canadian Ethnic Studies, Canadian Journal of Criminology, Journal of Ethnic and Migration Studies, Journal of International Migration and Integration, Social Indicators Research, as well as Social Psychology of Education: An International Journal.
