Discovering Knowledge... Sharing a Path is an Aboriginal awareness program that incorporates interactive activities and historical accounts from an Aboriginal perspective. It will address common myths and misconceptions by providing historical and factual information relating to treaties and government policies. A major goal of the session is to provide a safe learning environment that allows participants to ask questions in a secure non-judgmental setting, reducing stereotypes and misconceptions. Although there are several dates participants need only to attend one half-day session.
Discovering Knowledge... Sharing a Path sessions will provide a solid foundation for building an understanding, open work environment for Aboriginal employees. To date, over 1000 University of Regina employees have participated, and each session can accommodate up to 30 participants.
Please note: session dates may be combined or postponed if there are less than 15 registered participants. You will receive an email a week prior to the session confirming your attendance time and location.
