Who should attend:
This course is mandatory for all Emergency Wardens at the U of R.
Prerequisite: As a prerequisite for the course candidates are asked to complete the online Fire Safety 101 course through UR Courses.

Course Objective:
To provide participants with an understanding of the University of Regina's Emergency Warden System and processes including:
- The Incident Command System
- Emergency Response Procedures at the University of Regina
- The Emergency Warden System at the University of Regina
- Fire Safety Systems, - "Detection, Notification, & Suppression"
- Types of Fires
- Building Evacuations
- Fire Inspections
- Fire Extinguisher Training
- ENS
** Note to all Emergency Wardens: As of August 2012 this training has been updated to include the Incident Command System and Emergency Wardens' new responsibilities due to the implementation of the Emergency Notification System. Topics covered include Tornado response, Chemical Spills, Armed Intruder response, and more. Any Warden who has not received the updated training must attend.
