Prerequisite: Fire Safety 101 - Online Training
Course Objective:
To provide participants with an understanding of the University of Regina's Emergency Warden System and processes including:
- The Incident Command System
- Emergency Response Procedures at the University of Regina
- The Emergency Warden System at the University of Regina
- Fire Safety Systems, - "Detection, Notification, & Suppression"
- Types of Fires
- Building Evacuations
- Fire Inspections
- Fire Extinguisher Training
Who should attend:
This course is mandatory for all Emergency Wardens at the U of R. As a pre-requisite for the course candidates must take the online Fire Safety 101 course through UR Courses.
Due to recent changes in the University's Emergency Response Plan all Emergency Wardens and Chief Building Wardens are requested to re-take Emergency Warden Training.
