Course Objective:
Specialized equipment/site-specific training for those who require the use of an autoclave to decontaminate or sterilize research materials. This training covers general University processes and procedures, and should be complemented by additional research-specific training provided by the PI.
Who should attend:
All employees (faculty and staff), visitors, and undergraduate and graduate students who require the use of an autoclave. Autoclave User Id and Password is created during this session.
Complimentary courses available:
Depending on the laboratory you will be working in, you may also need to enroll in Biosafety or Biological Safety Cabinet Training courses.
