Online Safety Courses
Below are the online safety courses and mandatory in-person workshops currently offered by Health and Safety:

*Participants may request Chemical & Lab Safety AND Biosafety Awareness online courses at the same time.

Chemical & Lab Safety Online Course and Mandatory Workshop
Participants registered for the Chemical & Lab Safety (CLS) safety course, must successfully complete the online course (UR Courses) prior to registering for a CLS mandatory in-person workshop (WHMIS exam included).
After successfully completing the online section, please email health.safety@uregina.ca with your selected date for a CLS mandatory workshop. Information on what to provide in your email is available on the Chemical & Lab Safety online course (UR Courses).
CLS mandatory in-person workshops have a maximum of ten (10) participants. The Faculty of Science, Faculty of Engineering & Applied Science, and Faculty of Kinesiology and Health Studies encourage participants to successfully complete the CLS online course and mandatory in-person workshop as soon as possible. Failure to do so may result in being denied access to teaching and research space(s) that require the completion of the Chemical & Lab Safety course.

Biosafety Awareness Online Course and Mandatory Workshop
Participants registered for this course, must have successfully completed the Chemical & Lab Safety course (online course/mandatory workshop) OR are registered for Chemical & Lab Safety AND Biosafety Awareness safety courses at the same time.
Participants must successfully complete the online sections (UR Courses) for both Chemical & Lab Safety and Biosafety Awareness prior to registering for a CLS mandatory in-person workshop (includes WHMIS exam).
After successfully completing the online courses for Chemical & Lab Safety and Biosafety Awareness, please email health.safety@uregina.ca with your choice of CLS mandatory workshop. Information on what to provide in your email is available on the Biosafety Awareness online course (UR Courses)
After successfully completing a CLS mandatory workshop (WHMIS exam included), please email health.safety@uregina.ca with your choice of a Biosafety Awareness mandatory workshop. Information on what to provide in your email is available on the Biosafety Awareness online course (UR Courses)
Biosafety Awareness workshops have a maximum of six (6) participants. The Faculty of Science, Faculty of Engineering & Applied Science, and Faculty of Kinesiology and Health Sciences encourage participants to successfully complete the online courses and mandatory workshops for Chemical & Lab Safety and Biosafety Awareness as soon as possible. Failure to do so may result in being denied access to teaching and research space(s) that require the completion of Chemical & Lab Safety and Biosafety Awareness courses.
Autoclave Training information will be provided, by email, with your certificate
