2010 Graduate Students' Association Annual General Meeting
Posted on 2010
Attention all graduate students! The Graduate Students' Assocation (GSA) AGM will be held on Tuesday, January
26th, at noon in the Multipurpose Room at the Riddell Centre. The deadline for call for motions is January 19th at 11:59 PM.
Submit motions to the GSA by sending an email to urgsa@uregina.ca
.
The AGM is open to all registered graduate students at the University of Regina. At the AGM, the Co-Presidents, VP Finance,
and VP Student Affairs will be giving a report regarding the current standing of the Graduate Students' Association.
This particular AGM is important to the graduate student body as a new GSA Constitution is scheduled to appear for approval.
With the new GSA Constitution, a new GSA Council will become a legitimate body within the GSA - giving graduate students another
avenue to address their concerns regarding their program and status to the Executive.
For more information regarding the new GSA Constitution, please visit the 2010 AGM section of the website (available in the left
navigation bar). In addition, keep a close watch for the agenda of the 2010 GSA AGM that will be posted shortly.

Executive Greeting
Posted on 2009
As we begin a brand new academic year, we would like to extend a warm welcome to the new and returning graduate students, faculty, and staff. This year’s executive will continue the Graduate Students’ Association’s commitment and dedication to advocate for grad students at all university levels and encourage support, cooperation, and collegiality. We will carry on with the goal of making our university an academic destination for scholars like us from around the world.
Currently, we have more than 1500 graduate students actively pursuing their academic studies accounting for one in five University of Regina students, and over the past five years, these numbers have been constantly increasing. Because of these numbers, we are dedicated to better your experience here at the University of Regina. The growing membership of the GSA symbolizes our focus on building a stronger community of graduate students. Concurrently, we encourage active participation from all graduate students in order to create our “grad-community.”
