With the assistance of a development loan from SaskFilm in 1989, I wrote a feature length comedy set in the far future where citizens of earth are freed from labour by their robot slaves so have no other pastimes but to pose as heroes and villains in supposed world altering events. However, the characters are unprepared to face someone who is truly vindictive. I think I did some very funny work here but never managed to get it produced. I one point I worked with Corey Bryant and proposed it to a SaskFilm low-budget feature fund but we were not chosen to move forward. I also made applications to the Canada Council to produce it as a cut-out style animated film designed by Margaret Bessai, but again these applications were unsuccessful.
