TEXT:

Hello. According to the most up to date Canadian income tax and revenue office guidelines, it is not acceptable to file your personal or even your professional income tax statement using your personal computer and the inter-net. As a professional film-maker, I am allowed certain expenditures that you, the non-film-maker, whom I will hitherto refer to as the common people, may not claim, such as the proverbial mega-phone. Each year I am contacted by either Gladys or Rachael from the taxation office who suggest that such annual expenses are erroneous but after only three or four days of regular telephone correspondence with Gladys or Rachael and the delivery of mimeograph copies of my invoices for the mega-phones and notarized letters from common people who have witnessed me first hand using said mega-phones in the creation of my film-making, I am invariably told that my daily updates are no longer required and my taxation submission is declared perfectly adequate.
