Courting Time

This is created from a clip of time laps 16mm film I shot of the court house in Regina. The film is hand processed, as can be seen from the damage. The person walking into the frame is me. I wanted to study the frames which, at full speed, are too rapid to appreciate. I play with the image multiple time, trying to find the best rate. Colours are added digitally using muted colours which I was hoping would simulate optical printing. Image and sound engage in a tangled dance of love, always together but never in sync. VIDEO
