2002-present:  Assistant Professor:      Industrial Systems Engineering – University of Regina.

1998-2002:         Lecturer:                           Industrial Systems Engineering/ Petroleum Systems Engineering-University of Regina. Taught the following courses:                                                                            Thermodynamics (ENIN 251), Numerical methods (ENIN 330), Fluid Flow in Pipes and Porous Media (ENPE 240), Petroleum                                                                            Reservoir Fluids (ENPE 251), Introduction to  Petroleum Engineering (ENPE 241), Energy Conversion (ENIN 455),                                                                            Introduction to Chemical Processes (ENIN 355). 

 1995-1997:         Lab Instructor:               Industrial Systems Engineering, University of Regina. Designed, purchased and operated nine new laboratory experiments for                                                                             the Unit Operations, Heat Mass Momentum and Thermodynamics Labs. Taught seven labs in Process Engineering. 

1994-1995             Research Associate: Designed and built an experiment in order to measure adsorption and desorption rates of different gases in polyethylene                                                     pellets at high pressure.

1990-1991:           Associate Professor: Gas department (Algerian Institute of Petroleum-AIP).  Acquired an extensive experience as a consultant in the Petrochemical                                                        and gas industries  

1989-1990                    Adjunct-Associate Professor: Cryogenics department of Bab-Ezzouar University (Algiers) and AIP.                                                                                                                                                                          

1989-1990             Research Associate: Chemical Engineering Department, King Fahd University (Saudi Arabia). Hired as a researcher by the Research Institute                                                  of the University.

1987-1989                   Assistant Professor:     Gas Engineering Department and active Adjunct Professor at the chemistry department at the National Institute of                                                   Electronics and the Cryogenics Department at the University of Algiers (Bab Ezzouar)

1984-1986             Responsible of planning and Science Lecturer at Cherchell military academy.

1983-1984            Assistant Professor:    Gas department at the Algerian  Institute of Petroleum-Boumerdes.                                                                                                                                                

1979-1980            Junior Engineer:          Lliquefaction of natural gas plant (MCR cycle) run by Bechtel and El Paso at Arzew, Algeria. 

1979                       Summer Training:     Multicomponent refrigeration system (Teal cycle).  Study of axial compressors, extensive practical laboratory experience- Skikda                                               gas plant.

1978                       Summer Training:     Study of a pilot refinery at Senia. On site courses in applied chemistry, welding procedures and fluid mechanics. Training in the                                              methanol and Urea production plant at Arzew.

1977                       Summer Training:     Petroleum drilling center, Hassi Messaoud, Algerian desert.  Studies in well drilling, geology, and oil transport.
