Suggested instructional Approach:

Show students one or two search engines and how to use them. Use specific examples. The teacher can do this step by step on a computer projector. Allow time for students to practice, either give them more examples or they can pick their own topics. Once students are comfortable searching, give them a list of Internet and Business Terms, some examples are given in the section outline. Students can find definitions for these terms by searching the Internet. Then ask students to give definitions and terms for 10 or so more terms they feel are important to Business and the Internet.

Write these questions on the board, leave enough room for answers. Ask students to answer these questions. Write some of the answers on the board by the question. Put students into groups. Give each group reading material that has answers to the questions (see suggested resources). Allow time for students to present their answers to the questions. The teacher can include more information where needed.
