The content of this unit is very much activity based, where students learn by doing and practicing skills and abilities. Throughout this unit students will be working on in class assignments and activities on a daily basis. These activities provide the instructor the opportunity to formatively evaluate the students' progress through the unit. These daily activities require a lot of time and effort to be invested by the students, and have been given a relatively high weight.

The majority of the marks for this unit have been allocated to major projects. This unit requires students to be able to draw from knowledge learned in prior units and be able to apply this knowledge. The Web Site project in this unit is considered one of the major project of the entire course, and has therefore been given significantly high weight (50% including the site plan and rationale). This project gives the students an opportunity to apply what they have learned throughout the course about the Internet, business planning, and being and entrepreneur.

Throughout this unit, through activities and through major projects, students are expected to participate and demonstrate business like attitudes.
