Welcome

In Facilities Management, we take pride in what we do  and it shows.  That’s why the University of Regina is one of the most modern, well-maintained, and inviting campuses in the entire country. Situated in beautiful Wascana Centre, the campus forms part of the largest urban park in North America.

With more than 2.8 million square feet of space to operate and maintain on our Main and College Avenue campuses, there’s no shortage of things to do. Our operations span the entire campus and have an impact on all those who live, study, work, and play at the University of Regina.  So, whether you’re new to campus or you come here every day, take a moment and appreciate all this great institution has to offer.

In Facilities Management, our Vision says it best: “We Bring Facilities to Life!”

About Us

The Department of Physical Plant, as it was known for decades, was renamed Facilities Management in 2008 to better reflect the growing and diverse array of services provided and to give the department a more contemporary feel.

Since 1995, the campus has undergone remarkable growth. Beginning with the construction of the Riddell Centre (1995) and followed by projects such as the Wakpá & Paskwāw Towers (2004), the Centre for Kinesiology, Health & Sport (2007), the Research & Innovation Centre (2012), and most recently, Kīšik Towers (2015).

While times have certainly changed, one thing remains true. From the origins of the institution to the present day, Facilities Management professionals have always played a vital role and taken great pride in supporting the academic mission of the institution.
